From January 20 to May 13, 2012, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts presents the first retrospective in Canada devoted to Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956).  It is the first major retrospective of his work to be presented in North America in fifty years.  Lyonel Feininger:  From Manhattan to the Bauhaus will offer a comprehensive panorama of the oeuvre of this American painter who spent most of his life in Germany.
